Everyone deserves a good meal to eat, and to enjoy eating at a restaurant amongst their community. However, not everyone can afford it. The TWELVE BASKETS PROJECT is a plan to feed five thousand people daily, using local restaurants. This way, no matter a person’s financial situation, everyone can enjoy a good meal made by caring professionals.
TWELVE BASKETS PROJECT
HI THERE. WE’RE TWELVE BASKETS PROJECT
The plan is to register five thousand people to a list of restaurants affiliated to the TWELVE BASKETS PROJECT to provide meals from their menu. This service would be offered in confidentiality to prevent other customers knowing the participants are eating for free. This will provide participants with a sense of belonging to their community, preserving their pride and dignity when they are often so looked down upon.
Here is how we do it
STEP 1
Register a wide variety of restaurants that are interested to join to TWELVE BASKETS PROJECT and figure out how many meals those restaurants would be able to serve. Provide necessary tax information for restaurants who decide to partner with TWELVE BASKETS PROJECT.
STEP 2
Register farmers interested in helping the restaurants that are partnered with TWELVE BASKETS and connect them together. Provide necessary tax information for farmers who decide to partner with TWELVE BASKETS PROJECT.
STEP 3
Register five thousand people on the TWELVE BASKETS PROJECT website and gather their information, such as name, phone number, area of residence, housing situation, number in their household and meal preferences.
When the information is gathered, the restaurants who have partnered with TWELVE BASKETS PROJECT will receive the information to properly prepare to provide for these individuals.
STEP 4
Once people have registered and the restaurants are prepared, individuals will go onto the TWELVE BASKETS PROJECT website to make a reservation to a restaurant of their choosing.
